Well, the inevitable has finally happened — Walmart Yodel Boy was on Ellen.

This episode is brought to you by NHTSA reminding us that if you’re texting you’re not driving.

They say the only certainties in life are death and taxes, but I think we can add cute kids who go viral meeting Ellen to that list.

After straight up DEMOLISHING the Internet over the last week thanks to his rendition of Hank Williams Sr.’s “Lovesick Blues” getting memed left and right, Walmart Yodel Boy sat down with Ellen to talk about his country-singing dreams and more.

11-year-old Mason Ramsey also talked about his humbling beginnings — ya know, like two weeks ago — and how he performed at Walmart quote “50,000” times because that’s the only store they’ve got in his hometown of Harrisburg, Illinois.

Mason also revealed that his trip to LA to be on Ellen’s talk show was his first time on an airplane! Talk about going places.

And OF COURSE he couldn’t stop by Ellen without putting those pipes to work.

But that’s not even the best part! You know Ellen always has some kind of trick up her sleeve, so she surprised Mason by telling him that he’d be performing at the famed Grand Ole Opry in Nashville this weekend. Which OBVIOUSLY is a dream come true for him. And me too, to be honest.

On top of that, Walmart has also given Mason a $15,000 scholarship. Man, talk about a whirlwind couple weeks for Mason!

What do YOU think of Mason’s newfound fame? Think he’s country’s next big superstar? Hit the comments to get talking, and make sure you subscribe to Clevver while you’re at it. As always thank you for watching, I’m your host Emile Ennis Jr., we’ll see you next time!
