It was a rough day for Sophie Turner and she only has her menstrual cramps to blame. During an outing on Thursday, Sophie was caught on camera basically sobbing while walking down the street with her fiance Joe Jonas out in New York City.
While Joe was sweetly consoling Sophie during her breakdown, fans all over Twitter couldn’t help but wonder why Sophie was so emotional out in public. Well, thank God Sophie is so open with the world because she cleared the air on Twitter by quoting a news article about her emotional moment and wrote QUOTE, “Lol. Thank god I have a loving fiancé. Periods are a bitch.”
To be quite honest, I don’t blame her for crying menstrual cramps are a killer. Anyway, one particular fan wasn’t quite sold on Sophie’s explanation. They responded to her original tweet QUOTE, “Are you telling me that you start crying till your face is burning red because you have your period? Even when you know paparazzis are behind you? Next joke please.”
Hey, periods can be super painful sometimes and you just need to let a tear or two because it just hurts SO bad. Anyway, after that snarky response, Sophie then replied back to the fan and said, “Girl… you’ve never had cramps?” I mean…that’s a pretty valid question to ask someone who thinks you’re lying about crying while on your period.

I cry 3 times a day when I’m on my periods, two times because my body aches and one time because I’m suffering and people are dumb. If you’rre criticizing her, fight me.
Why is everyone crying in the street? ?
As someone with endometriosis o know how traumatic cramps can be. On OR off your period. Female reproductive organs are so complex and there are so many issues that can develop. Some people have crippling cramps that can cause such intense pain that they can’t even walk on their own! I’ve been hospitalized multiple times for period/endometriosis related issues. People are ignorant ?

Of course I believe her. My period cramps sometimes hurt so bad I’ve vomited because of the pain, all while tears and snot are running down my face. Some girls get lucky and the cramps aren’t as bad, but the rest of us gotta deal with the nasty pain.
