Apparently, Shay Mitchell really is a Pretty Little Liar because she’s been keeping a major secret from us for the past six months, she’s pregnant!
What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and our girl Shay Mitchell just revealed that she’s expecting her first child with her long-time boyfriend Matte Babel.
Congrats to the parents to be!
But 6 months pregnant?! We seriously had no idea. HOW DID SHE HIDE THE BUMP?
She was just posting on Instagram looking not-pregnant at all, but it turns out that was definitely on purpose. She wanted to keep the news private until she was ready to share, which is totally respectable.
Though I have to say, I’m so glad we know now because Shay is queen of the Gram and I’m so excited to see all the pregnancy pics she’s been hiding from us!
She shared the news on her Instagram and YouTube pages.
Her Instagram post said quote, “Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the carpool lane at all times now?”
I have to say she looks unbelievable. I hope I look even half as good as this when I’m pregnant, because damn, Shay. You are GLOWING.
And while I am here for the humor on her IG post, she got more sentimental on YouTube.
She wrote quote, “Everyone waits for the right time to make the announcement and for me it wasn’t until I couldn’t hide it anymore and was tired of wearing over-sized sweatshirts. We’re beyond excited and looking forward to starting a family.”
And the comments are literally flooding with congrats to her. Thousands are coming in by the minute.
One person wrote quote, “OMG I could cry. Congrats Shay. You deserve this blessing. Love and light”
And another said quote, “Oh my gosh !!!! Congratulations Beautiful Shay. I’m so excited for you !!!! I love u !”
And we are equally excited for her.
This happy news comes after Shay shared earlier this year that she suffered a miscarriage last year that resulted in the loss of quote «the child of her hopes and dreams.»
So it makes sense why she waited to share, and it makes us even more excited that she is going to be a mom!
