What’s up guys, its Sussan Mourad here for Clevver News and I don’t know about you, but if there’s a story about our boy Shawn Mendes leaving his underwear somewhere, you bet I’m going to be clicking on that fast! And turns out, that was the exact reaction John Mayer was hoping for in sharing this story – but you guys, its legit facts.

During a recent interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel ‘Radio Andy’, John decided to share a story that shows the depth of the bromance between these two, when he straight up asked, “Can I tell a clickbait story?” He went on to say, “This is a story that’s designed for people to pick up and put in the press.. the headline, “How Shawn Mendes’ Underwear Ended Up in John Mayer’s Hotel Room”

It all started when John and Shawn were in the studio working on «Like to Be You» off Shawn’s 2018 self-titled album, when mid studio sesh, he remembered he didn’t have any more underwear.

Wait, hold up, what!? So Shawn just remembered mid studio session that he was out of underwear, that minute!?? I mean, we’re talking about Shawn here, so I’m into it.

John went on to say that he sent out his assistant to get Shawn Mendes underwear and she came back with a big bag of about 12 pairs, and as for his size…. just in case you’re wondering,

But were they Calvin’s John, that is the next question…

John later added that this was before Shawn’s Calvin’s campaign so they weren’t Calvins, and the way they ended up in John’s hotel room? Shawn left the studio that night without taking the bag of undies, so John took them back to his hotel room and held onto them for quite a while to give them to Shawn the next time he see’s him.

Gotta hand it to John, that’s an interesting way to get Shawn’s undies into your hotel room and into the headlines. But this isn’t the first time John had something to say about Shawn’s undies. Shawn recently posted this picture to Instagram from his recent Calvin Klein campaign – and let’s just say, with over 6.7 million likes, everyone including celebs like Demi Lovato, were into it.

John left a cheeky comment saying, QUOTE: «I would have loved to comment on this, but my Fruit of the Loom contract prevents me from doing so #fotlpartner» . LOL John, lol.
