Let’s just say Ryan Gosling’s latest wax figure is lacking a certain…je ne sais quoi.
It’s hard to recreate perfection and Ryan Gosling’s latest wax figure just proves that point. Madame Tussaud’s in Berlin unveiled their newest wax figure of the La La Land actor on Monday and instead of receiving a ton of favorable reactions, everyone kind of just did this.
I think we can all agree that something’s a bit off with his wax figure, right? There’s just something off about Ryan’s face and don’t even get me started on the clothes. A few of the actor’s fans took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with his latest wax figure.
A user by the name of Kylie tweeted QUOTE, “Why does this Ryan Gosling wax figure look just like Westley from Princess Bride?” Another wrote QUOTE, “Whoever made that wax figure of Ryan Gosling needs to consider another profession! #Fail.”
But not everyone agreed that the wax figure didn’t look like the beloved actor. A different user wrote QUOTE, “I don’t know what people are freaking out about – that wax figure looks exactly like Ryan Gosling.” Okay, not sure if they’re being sarcastic or what, but Rachel kinda shut everyone down by saying, “BREAKING NEWS: Wax figures of anyone ever have always been and will always be creepy.”
She does have a good point there, BUT, I think we can all agree here that Ryan’s statue that was created in London back in 2014 was a MUCH better wax figure than the one now.
