Post Malone Celebrates His 24th Birthday!

While most people are celebrating the 4th of July, there’s another holiday today I think everyone’s forgotten about – Post Malone’s birthday!

What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and today is one of our favorite rappers’ birthday! Post Malone turns 24!

So celebrations are in order and what better way to celebrate than rounding up some of the reasons why we love him.

First up, I have to start with how he got his stage name Post Malone, because you didn’t think that was his real name did you?

His real name is Austin Richard Post, but he got the name Post Malone from get this… an online rap name generator. No Seriously

Like he literally just entered his name onto one of those websites and the name Post Malone was born.

I just plugged my name in and got Chopper Proper, Ratchetface Sussan and Inspectah Ratchet.

Not gonna lie, always thought I was a rapper in a past life, so from now on please refer to me as Ratchetface Sussan.

Alright, another reason we love Post Malone is his love for the Olive Garden. You know that heavenly place on earth where you can get all you can eat breadsticks and endless bowls of salad!!!

Anyway back to Post Malone!

He even took Jimmy Fallon to Olive Garden and it was perfect.

And he knows the menu really well, like frighteningly well.

I legit can’t go to Olive Garden anymore without thinking about him, which I am totally ok with.

And fans love the video of him and Jimmy at Olive Garden too.

And another said quote, “Nobody:
Me: Have you seen the Post Malone Olive Garden video?”

We also love Post for just being unapologetically himself.

He was famously called out on Hot 97 for drinking beer at 10 in the morning, obviously something we don’t ever recommend, but nothing seems to phase him. He’s rarely seen without a beer in his hand, because in Posty fashion ‘this is America and he can do what he wants’.

Spoken like a true 4th of July baby.

We also love Posty because he isn’t afraid to have fun even if it means he looks silly.

We’re talking about Post Malone’s alter ego, Leon DeChino, who a lot of us were introduced to when an old video resurfaced of Post pre-fame that had him singing an electronic love song in denim short-shorts…

Yep, that’s really Post Malone.

he discussed how he created the parody video “Why Don’t You Love Me” and character for a high school art project when he was 17. Although a lot of people have joked about it, Post told the Breakfast Club that he was just having fun with his friends and thinks its hilarious, and totally owned it.
Just one more reason why we love him.

And the last, but certainly not least reason we love Post Malone is that he actually learned to play guitar on Guitar Hero. Like the rest of us.

He told Rolling Stone that he turned his habit of playing Guitar Hero into an actual hobby of playing guitar.

He ended up joining some cover bands in high school which kick started his love for performing and writing music.

And thank goodness for Guitar Hero, a sentence I never thought I’d say, because now we know it’s how Post Malone first dabbled in music.
