Time Magazine’s list of the most influential people on the internet is here and it’s made up of some of our favorites celebs and YouTubers. Any guesses who made the list? We’ve got you covered.

What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and with the Internet more powerful than ever, Time revealed it’s 5th annual list of the 25 most influential people online.

This list is actually unranked, which makes sense because I don’t know how they’d pick a #1 out of this insanely influential group, so many of our Clevver favs made the cut!

Let’s start with BTS, who of course, made Time’s list.

This is no surprise at all, thanks to the BTS Army. Not only are they topping the charts and winning awards, but this year they launched a mobile game and their movie is coming out next month.

So to say they are influential would be an understatement.

Another one of our favs who made the list is Ariana Grande, which makes complete sense because she is having the year of her life, despite all her challenges!

As if putting out her Grammy-winning album Sweetener wasn’t enough, she released another record-breaking album “thank u, next.” And at one point in February, she held all three top spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Proving once and for all that God, most definitely, is a woman.

But move over Hollywood celebs, because the YouTubers came in strong on this list.

In case you forgot, our girl, Liza Koshy, has been absolutely killing it this year. She obviously made Time’s list.

She’s taken her influence off just YouTube and seamlessly crossed over into mainstream media by hosting Vogue’s Met Gala red carpet and interviewing Barack Obama.

But not all YouTubers made the list for the same reasons as Liza.

James Charles was also having the year of his life, until the falling out drama with fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook took over the media.

While the drama created setbacks for James, in the end it actually made him more influential as it started a conversation about the dark side of being an influencer and “cancel culture.”

And let’s be real, he’s still got over 15.7 million subscribers so he’s not going anywhere.

Another YouTuber is also the youngest individual on this list. Do you have any guesses?

YEAP…. It’s JoJo Siwa.

I shouldn’t have been surprised by this because her face is literally everywhere on kids toys, clothing, lunch boxes, scooters, and more, but I was somewhat shocked that she made it at only 16 years old!

Her young fanbase, which includes Kim and Kanye’s daughter North West, can’t get enough of her, so good for you Jojo, keep doing what you’re doing because it’s obviously working.

Some of our other favorites to make the list are Emma Chamberlin, Cardi B, and Lil Nas X.

But now I want to hear from you guys.

Are you surprised by any of these people who made the list? And who else do you think should’ve made the cut?

Let me know what you think down in the comments below.
