Kim Kardashian West finds herself in yet ANOTHER bout of backlash and it’s all because she reacted happily to being called anorexic.
Oh, Kim…
People are once again PISSED at Kim Kardashian, but this time, they kinda have a right to be angry. On Sunday night, Kim shared a bunch of videos on her Instagram story from the City of Hope charity poker event, but the topic of discussion triggered A LOT of people – and NOT in the best way.
So, in these videos, Kim recorded both Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner commenting on how skinny she currently looks. Now, I know that sounds very harmless at first, but it gets worse. After being called skinny, Kim went on to egg her sisters for even more comments on how thin she looks.
And of course, Kim graciously thanking her sisters for their “compliments” on not eating and being anorexic also didn’t really help keep the critics at bay.
Yeah, her reaction definitely got her a bunch of heat – and not the good kind. One twitter user reacted to Kim’s Insta story and wrote QUOTE, “I’m sorry but Kim Kardashian filming her sisters saying ‘I don’t think you’re eating, you’re so skinny’ and saying ‘omg thank you!’ is everything wrong with that fucking woman. She is cancelled. CANCELLED. If someone says you look so skinny that they don’t think you’re eating that is NOT A COMPLIMENT to gloat about to your millions of followers that are majority young girls like yeah, don’t worry Kim, just tell everyone not to eat then they’ll look like you.”
Another wrote QUOTE, “Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story of her bragging about how skinny she is makes me wanna vom.” One fan wrote QUOTE, “Kim’s Insta story is very triggering. Yikes.”
While the band Best Coast tweeted, “Kim Kardashian being obsessed with her sisters telling her she’s so skinny she looks anorexic on her Instagram story makes me want to throw my phone into outer space.”
Look, we get it. It’s perfectly fine to feel good about yourself if you’re been working hard to get into the shape you want to be and to accept compliments, but not comments like these, Kim. Not comments like these.
