Rihanna is getting ready to launch her lingerie line and it sounds like Kim Kardashian West is gearing up to do the same.
Kim has conquered the beauty world, she’s conquered the fragrance world, and now it’s time for her to conquer the lingerie world.
To no one’s surprise, Kim K is expanding her growing empire to include – drum roll please: lingerie. It is being reported that Kim is planning on dropping a Japanese inspired lingerie line by the name of ‘Kimono Intimates’ and according to TMZ, Kim’s kompany has already filed documents to trademark the name.
Kim is reportedly planning on creating a wide range of lingerie and undergarment items like bustiers, nightgowns, breast shapers, pasties, leotards, and kimonos (duh) – just to name a few – for her Kimono Intimates line. Let’s hope Kim takes a note from RiRi’s upcoming Savage X Fenty lingerie line and make her items size-inclusive as well.
TMZ also revealed that Kim is teaming up with the same company behind Khloe’s Good American brand, so it’s safe to say that Kimmy will be in good hands.
You know, now that we think about it, maybe this whole Kimono Intimates line has been in the works for quite some time now. Especially since Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe all travelled to Japan back in February. While we all know that the sisters had a GREAT time exploring and traveling the country, we can’t help but wonder if they were also taking fashion meetings in between their excursions and honestly, we wouldn’t put it past them.
