Iconic Disney character Minnie Mouse finally received her own star on Hollywood Boulevard and Katy Perry was on hand to present it.

Katy Perry was on hand to present iconic Disney character Minnie Mouse with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
The Disney obsessed pop superstar admitted she was having the “best day ever” as she got to give Minnie her honor, 90 years after she made her big screen debut in short film ‘Steamboat Willie’.
The ‘Roar’ singer dressed in a red and white polka dot two-piece dress with matching hat in tribute to Minnie who was dressed in her trademark colors and Katy praised Minnie as a style icon who “epitomizes fun”.
Minnie’s boyfriend Mickey Mouse was on hand to witness her proud moment which came 40 years after he received his own star.
Other Disney icons to have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame include Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, and Tinker Bell.
