Avengers: End Game is finally here, well we can’t watch it yet, but last night was the Los Angeles premiere and the reactions are here. What’s up y’all?! It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and we have to talk about Avengers: Endgame. There won’t be any spoilers because I haven’t seen the film, but I have been looking at the reactions from people who have seen it and I AM READY TO CRY. I already cried after Infinity War. I’m going to go through two boxes of tissue after End Game. Alright, let’s get the reactions from the lucky few who were in attendance. Most of them were critics, so if they loved it, then we all will probably be obsessed. Why. Weren’t. We. There. Ok, I’m over it.

Steven Weintraub who’s the editor over at Collider.com tweeted, “Don’t know how any @MarvelStudios fan walks out of #AvengersEndgamedisappointed. Movie is loaded with incredible set pieces and tons of small character moments that leave you wanting more. An epic conclusion to 10 years of Marvel movies. Thank you to everyone that worked on MCU.”

Brandon Davis tweeted, #AvengersEndgame is an astonishing, amazing film. I’ve never seen anything like it. This movie is everything I wanted to be and SO much more. Amazing.

Scott Mendelson who’s a film critic for Forbes wrote a review that wasn’t glowing, but we still want to wathc it. He said, So, #AvengersEndgame hits the required beats, with plenty of fan service (most of it earned) and plenty of wit. It doesn’t make a ton of sense (and the action is a comedown) but it’s unquestionably fun.

Dave Itzkoff from the New York Times, “I was not prepared for the range of emotions that #Endgame put me through, from utter despair to pure elation. I laughed, I cried, I wished Tony Stark was my dad.”

And Variety’s Matt Donnelly, “Incredible ingenuity and commitment. Marvel and Disney can and should be proud of this moment. #AvengersEndgame”

So the film officially comes out on April 26 and we’re all waiting to see what box office records it breaks. Avengers: Infinity War grossed over 2 Billion Dollars and Avengers End Game is on track to have a global opening weekend that approaches the 1Billion mark. There were over 2000 people in attendance at the LA premiere and they watched the film in a custom theater. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The ambitious installation included Dolby Vision dual laser projectors offering high dynamic range and the required brightness to fill the 30- by 70-foot screen, as well as Dolby Atmos immersive sound. This involved 150 speakers, 20 subwoofers, 100 surrounds and an estimated 750,000 watts of power.” Basically this premiere was bomb. Also, why wasn’t I there?! Anyway, we are even more excited now for the film, but I want to know what you think! Are you excited for the film? Have you already purchased your tickets? And how do you think it’s going to end?!
