Dunkin’ donuts is releasing COFFEE thins and they sound DELICIOUS!
Get excited guys because you will now be able to EAT your daily cup of java!
The new Dunkin Donuts Coffee Thins were first spotted at a food convention called the sweets and snacks expo and coffee lovers everywhere are SUPER excited
The coffee thins are reportedly made of creamy chocolate and dunkin donuts coffee beans.
According to the Instagram account Junk Food Mom, the thins have been branded as a QUOTE “creamy coffee treat,”
The thins are made with chocolate and Dunkin’ coffee beans and will come in flavors such as Original blend, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Spice, and Caramel!
According to reports the coffee thins have 7 milligrams of caffeine per piece of chocolate, so they don’t exactly pack the same caffeinated punch as your typical cup of joe.
Instagram user Junk food mom who got to taste test these new thins, went on to say that the coffee flavor is QUOTE, “not overpowering and the chocolate is as described and creamy,”
It’s no secret that dunkin donuts loves to experiment with new and exciting flavors whether it’s for their iced coffees, donuts, or coolattas!
Dunkin Donuts issued the following statement to Elite Daily about their passion when it comes to food innovation saying QUOTE, “As a coffee leader, Dunkin’ Donuts is committed to innovation and exploring new ways to offer consumers more options for enjoying the taste of our signature coffee while on-the-go. “
The brand went on to say QUOTE, “We tested Coffee Thins, which are pre-packaged wafers made using our brand’s high-quality coffee beans, inside Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in 2014, and we are currently in discussions with Tierra Nueva to make Coffee Thins available at grocery stores and other retail channels later this year. We haven’t finalized the specific details on the flavors or timing for the national launch at this time.”
specific launch date, all of this does sound pretty promising so be sure to keep your eyes peeled while grocery shopping!
