You know that feeling when you’re indicted on 14 charges but you decide to go stunt on the red carpet anyway? Yeah, me neither. But Cardi B does.
What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr with Clevver News. Remember when Cardi was arrested in October in connection to ordering an attack on two strip club bartenders?
Well, now the other shoe is dropping after a grand jury decided that those two misdemeanor charges weren’t enough.
Cardi is now facing 14 charges total, including two felony charges for attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury
Last August, Cardi allegedly ordered an attack on two bartenders, Jade and her sister Baddie G, after hearing that Jade had slept with Offset.
Maybe you remember them from Nicki’s “Good Form” video.
Well, the two bartenders are saying that they were injured when Cardi’s people began throwing bottles and chairs around the club.
So now Cardi will have to go to court to face these 14 charges, including the two felony charges and some misdemeanor charges for conspiracy, reckless endangerment, assault, and harassment.
She turned herself into police last October, but ultimately rejected a plea deal that would require her to plead guilty to just one misdemeanor charge.
And maybe a non-celeb would be really regretting that right now…
But not Cardi! After hearing about the charges, Cardi showed up to the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills last night where she won the award for songwriter of the year.
And where are Jade and Baddie Gi? Well, they’re team Nicki.
