In her brand new interview with Rolling Stone, Camila Cabello opened up about everything in her life, from getting discovered to how she got over her first breakup with the help from her now BFF Taylor Swift.
In the article, Camila actually revealed about how she met Tay, and it wa actually through a mutual friend. Apparently, Hailee Steinfeld had introduced them. And at the time, Camila was going through her first breakup and as soon as Taylor heard, she immediately put together a breakup playlist for her and invited her to a girls night. According to Camila, Taylor simply told her “come over. Let’s talk about it” If that’s not friendship goals, I don’t know what is.
Speaking of breakups, when opening up about her depature from Fifth Harmony, Camila said QUOTE «It was as painful as a breakup, a five-year breakup,» We can only imagine.
Camila then went on to say that if she was still in the group today and still wanting to work on her own solo projects, things might actually be different, saying QUOTE “If we were in the same situation now, it would probably be fine for everyone to make their own music while being in the group, because I think everyone understands now that you can’t limit people. That’s why people break free.” So maybe with the success that followed Camila after her departure, she set a new standard!
But aside from dishing on her friendships and leaving her former girl group, Camila even dished on her new boy toy and how he helped her learn a valuable lesson. Though she wouldn’t to reveal his identity in the interview, she said she’s the “happiest she’s ever been” and revealed that he helped her learn to live life without regrets after an exercise at a retreat he hosted.
