The nightmare of a day Coachella ticket holders hoped would never come is here. Beyonce will not be performing at Coachella this year. Doctor’s orders.
Many speculated that Beyonce would have to pull out of Coachella because of the twins and well, it happened.
The official announcement was made today that Queen B will have to sit out of headlining Coachella this year. Doctors orders. A message posted on Coachella’s Facebook page broke the news saying QUOTE – «Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding. Stay tuned for more information.”
But the silver lining here is that although B will not be able to make it to the show this year, she will headline in 2018. To be real though, I can’t imagine the tears that must be streaming from the eyes of people who bought tickets just to see my queen. People have been freaking out since it was announced in early January, but then smiles started to wilt when B announced that she was expecting twins. People were happy for her but the elephant in the room was uh girl are you gonna be able to perform at Coachella because wallets were emptied. A source told E! News earlier this month that Beyonce had every intention of performing but that her health would of course come first and that her participation would depend on her condition at the time / doctor’s orders.
An alternative headliner has not yet been announced but whoever it is will be joining Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. What do you guys think about Beyonce no longer performing at Coachella? Everyone knew this was coming, as with her being heavily pregnant with twins, it would have been too risky on her body to perform like that. Her body and the babies come first.

Why is she performing in Coachella in the first place. That event is for posers. You know, people who come just to be seen but dont really care about the performers (not all).
