Gymnast Aly Raisman is taking legal action against the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics. The Olympic gymnast filed a lawsuit against them for their handling of the Larry Nassar sexual abuse scandal. “My highest priority has been to push for change, so future generations of athletes will be safer,» Raisman said in a statement. «It has become painfully clear that these organizations have no intention of properly addressing this problem. After all this time, they remain unwilling to conduct a full investigation, and without a solid understanding of how this happened, it is delusional to think sufficient changes can be implemented.”

President Trump started a Twitter war with Alec Baldwin on Friday morning. The President fired off a tweet in response to an interview where Baldwin said that every time he does his Donald Trump impersonation on SNL “it’s like agony.” «Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch,» Trump wrote on Twitter, at first misspelling Baldwin’s name as «Alex» before fixing. Baldwin of course fired back with some tweets of his own.

Katie Couric revealed that she has faced “gross” sexism during her career. The veteran journalist was speaking at Procter & Gamble’s headquarters during a forum on the state of women in the workplace. “I’ve been very fortunate in terms of not being subjected to a lot of sexual misconduct, but certainly I have been subjected to widely held attitudes about women, about compartmentalizing women,” Couric said .She recalled that early in her career, when she walked into a meeting at CNN, an executive said of her to others around the table, «She’s successful because of her hard work, intelligence and breast size.”
