The Kids’ Choice Awards just rolled out their full list of nominations and the nominees are…
Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart, Zendaya, Rowan Blanchard, the list for the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards nominations goes on and on.
Showtime is a month away, but it’s never too early to get a head start on things! The Kids’ Choice Awards released the full list of this year’s nominations and to no one’s surprise, both Justin Timberlake and Kevin Hart are in the lead for the most nominations. JT is up for 7 awards while Kevin is trailing close behind with 6.
In the TV category, Rowan Blanchard, Dove Cameron, and Zendaya all found themselves up against each other as well as Lizzy Greene, Kira Kosarin, and Breanna Yde for Favorite Female TV Star. The Big Bang Theory, Black-ish, Fuller House, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, Supergirl and The Flash are up for Favorite Family TV Show.
When it comes to film, a good chunk of the nominations were superhero movies, but a few non-superhero movies managed to make their way onto the list. Finding Dory, Moana, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Trolls, and Zootopia are all nominated for Favorite Animated Movie. As expected, Ben Affleck, Will Arnet, Henry Cavill, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans, were all nominated for Favorite Movie Actor for their work in superhero movies with the exception of Chris Hemsworth who was nominated for his role as Kevin in Ghostbusters. The same sorta goes for Amy Adams, Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson, Felicity Jones, Melissa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig in the Favorite Movie Actress category.
And in the overall music category, many of our faves received nominations as well. Justin Bieber, Drake, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, JT, and The Weeknd are up for Favorite Male Singer. Adele, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Meghan Tranior are going up against each other for Favorite Female Singer and we can’t forget The Chainsmokers, Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Pentatonix, and Twenty One Pilots who are all nominated for Favorite Music Group.
While many of these stars have been on this list before, a number of nominees received their first KCA nom this year and Little Mix was one of them. The girl group is up against 5 Seconds of Summer, BIGBANG, Bruno Mars, Shakira, and Zara Larsson in the Favorite Global Music Star category and they couldn’t help but thank their fans in this sweet little video.
You can tell they’re so excited for their nomination. Other stars like Dove, Kira, and Breanna all went on Twitter to thank their fans for all of their support. Kira wrote, “So excited to be nominated for #KCA #FavoriteFemaleTVStar with these incredible ladies!” Breanna said QUOTE, “Wow! I can’t believe I was nominated for a KCA! Thank you @Nickelodeon and all of my amazing fans for all the love and support. Please Vote.”
While Dove retweeted a bunch of her fans and replied to one by saying, “I love my dovelies SO MUCH.” Congrats to all the nominees! You can check out the rest of the list and vote for your favorites on Nick.com.
